About us

Nitty Gritty follows in the legacy of the Mother Lode Antiques and owner Nicky Heinz, who retired after many years in the business. As the town grows and changes, we think it's important to hang onto things from the past. The hi-desert and surrounding areas are rich in history. We hope to bring that history into your homes through a carefully picked and curated shopping experience.   

We specialize in the following types of antiques: industrial, Mexican, western, Early American, Arts and Crafts/Mission, and 70's revival.

Nitty Gritty is located at 55735 Twentynine Palms Hwy in the heart of Old Town Yucca Valley, CA. We are open 10am-5pm 7 days a week during our busy season (Fall, Winter and Spring). Summer hours are variable and subject to change, but rest assured we are always open weekends.
